About brands at UK motorway services

UK motorway services are dominated by a handful of food and coffee chains - mostly because of operator agreements rather than driver demand. The "big four" food brands (McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Subway) appear at most major sites, while coffee is split between Costa Coffee and Starbucks. Bakery chains like Greggs and West Cornwall Pasty are growing as drivers look for cheaper or quicker options.

EV charging networks have changed faster than anything else on the network. Tesla Superchargers, Gridserve and BP Pulse now operate at most major sites, with ultra-rapid (150-350 kW) chargers rolling out at new and refurbished services. We track which networks are at each site so you do not arrive somewhere with a charger that does not match your car.
